Year 4 2017/18

Welcome to Year 4

Welcome back to the start of another action packed year full of interest and wonder!

The year 4's are coming back to a world of chocolate! We will be looking at the Mayans and their contributions to the world (one of which is that most delectable of delights....Chocolate). As part of this topic we will be looking at Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as a range of different Mayan inspired pieces of art. A trip has also been organised to Cadburys World in Birmingham in order to reinforce our learning and to get to see how some of the modern chocolate we know and love are produced today.

Lunches

As the school has made the move to online payments for lunches we are also changing the way in which children bring their lunches into school. Children need to be responsible for their own lunches and bring them into the classroom for registration. This will make it easier for class teachers to be able to clearly see who is having sandwiches and who is having a pre-paid (using the new online payment system) hot dinner.

Lunches will then be placed on the lunch trolleys as usual after registration.
