Virtual Phonics Meeting For Parents
Normally at this time of year we would be hosting our annual phonics meeting for parents to try and help you have a better understanding of phonics and how it’s taught at Orchard. This year due to the current situation this is not possible so we have put the power point presentation on our website as a video with voice over. It is about 30 minutes long, and we hope that you can find time to watch it.
To accompany the presentation, there is also a video of me teaching a phonics lesson to last years Twiglets in school. We hope that this will help make sense of the information given in the presentation. We recommend that you watch the presentation first and then watch the lesson.
